Day Trading
Some of the most common financial instruments that daytaders trade are stocks, stock options, currencies, and a variety of futures contracts such as equity index futures, interest rate futures, and commodity futures.
Day trading is the process of buying and selling financial instruments within the same trading day. Day traders prefer to close all positions before the market close of the trading day. Traders performing day trading are called daytraders.
Day trading is practiced by a speculator who buys and sells securities on the basis of small short-term price movements. There are vast numbers of day trading resources online from computer software packages, to alert systems to tips and other educational materials. Day traders also need to find low cost stock brokerages and currency trading to keep their transaction costs low. Before you embark on day trading you should do your own research and try to understand the risks associated with day trading.
